Honey production
The San Ignacio Border Agricultural Cooperative (COOPAFSI), through the San Ignacio Ladies Committee (made up of 81 leading members), has been implementing bio-gardens, agroforestry systems and reforestation plots, and also developing products derived from the resources they use, such as coffee, within the buffer zone and area of influence of the Tabaconas Namballe National Sanctuary.
On this occasion, COOPAFSI proposes to improve and strengthen the production chain of honey and its derivatives, through the sustainable use of the melliferous flora resource and the development of a distance sales strategy for the national and foreign market of its products, through the use of technology and innovative platforms.

81 leading members of the Las Damas de San Ignacio Committee, who have been implementing bio-gardens, agroforestry systems and reforestation plots.

To improve and strengthen the production chain of honey and its derivatives, of COOPAFSI, through the Committee Las Damas de San Ignacio, whose scope of intervention is in the districts of Namballe and San Ignacio, in the province of San Ignacio, department of Cajamarca.

- Increased honey productivity while preserving the spectacled bear's habitat. - Improvement of traditional honey production, harvesting, and post-harvest processes. - Diversification of production through the acquisition of pollen and propolis. - Expansion of the customer base through the use of technology and digital platforms for online sales.
