Seven organizations will receive funding from Conserva Aves in Peru
Conserva Aves, a joint initiative led by the American Bird Conservancy (ABC), National Audubon Society (Audubon), BirdLife International (BirdLife) and the Latin American and Caribbean Network of Environmental Funds (RedLAC), with financial support from the Bezos Earth Fund, announced the organizations selected for its first open call in Peru. After a rigorous evaluation of 21 applications and the pre-selection of 9 projects, 7 organizations were selected for their commitment to the conservation of birds and their habitats in various regions of the country.

Regional Government of Piura strengthens capacities in investment projects for the conservation of Biological Diversity
In a joint effort between the Natural Resources and Environment Management of the Regional Government of Piura, the Ministry of Environment and the Dry Forest of the Northern Coast of Peru project, technical assistance workshops were held in Piura to train public officials in key concepts for investment in biological diversity, thus promoting the formulation of projects and closing sectoral gaps.
