Profonanpe promotes new digital program hosted by children

Naturaventuras is the new digital program that seeks to bring various environmental issues in an entertaining way to the children of Peru.

Peru’s youngest raise their voices for nature! Naturaventuras, the new digital program hosted by children from different regions of the country, has been launched. In this digital space promoted by Profonanpe, Peru’s private environmental fund, young people will share their points of view and tell about some of the initiatives that are being promoted for the benefit of the environment.

Naturaventuras will have 8 chapters that will be released until September. This space seeks to develop in the youngest members of the family the interest and love for taking care of our planet. The program will be broadcasted through our YouTube channel and previously announced on Profonanpe’s Facebook and Instagram.

Rodrigo and Kamyla, hosting the first chapter of Naturaventuras: “Life in the sea”.

Profonanpe, producer of the digital program Naturaventuras, considers it extremely important for children to be key players in nature conservation. “It is important to foster awareness and love for nature from childhood, so that during their lifetime they can make informed decisions and be allies in the conservation of our natural home. Naturaventuras is here to be that space of playful knowledge for children focused on the environmental sector,” said Yuliana Castro, Manager of Communications and Corporate Affairs.

Maite, host of the third chapter of Naturaventuras: “Fishermen and climate change”.

We invite you to watch the first 3 chapters of Naturaventuras. The first chapter tells the story of Rodrigo and Kamyla, who are curious about the life that lives in the sea. In this first episode they talk with Paola Luyo, specialist of the San Fernando National Reserve, about the work of the reserve with the community.

In the second chapter, Javier meets a little bee who will tell him about her work to protect the forests with women from San Ignacio in Cajamarca.

And in the third episode, Maite visits Los Órganos beach (Piura) to attend the premiere of the documentary Resilient Fishing:
