Profonanpe, the Peruvian Environmental Fund, launched the call for the new season of the Environmental Reporters of Peru (RAP), a digital proposal of Profonanpe that seeks to make visible initiatives that promote environmental sustainability in Peru, through the experiential experience of 5 influencers.
The three winners will join Natalia Barrera, Afro-Peruvian model and activist, and Traveleras, travel influencers, to make reports that show the environmental challenges facing our country, as well as the innovative solutions that are promoted by Profonanpe and its partners in different regions.
The environmental reporters will travel to different regions of the country at Profonanpe’s expense and will undergo a training workshop that will include a basic guide to enhance their audiovisual communication skills through cell phones. They will also reinforce interviewing techniques and theatrical exercises to find their expressive style.
The first season of Environmental Reporters of Peru (RAP) included Waldir Maqque and Gian Marco Moreno, content generators from Cusco and Loreto, who participated in the video calling for this new season, along with Natalia Barrera and renowned actor Sebastián Rubio.
The call is aimed at influencers and content generators on Instagram and TikTok, over 18 years old, with audience reach throughout Peru and will be open until May 31. Those interested in participating may do so by sending a one-minute maximum video to Profonanpe’s Facebook, Instagram or TikTok accounts. In the video, participants should tell who they are, where they live in Peru and why they would like to be the next Environmental Reporter of Peru.
