The IDB is the main source of multilateral financing and expertise for sustainable economic, social and institutional development in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The Ministry of the Environment promotes the conservation and sustainable use of natural resources, the enhancement of biological diversity, and environmental quality for the benefit of people and the environment.
The National Forest Conservation Program for Climate Change Mitigation (Programa Bosques) contributes to forest conservation, together with native and peasant communities, indigenous organizations, regional and local governments, and civil society.
The Ministry of the Environment promotes the conservation and sustainable use of natural resources, the enhancement of biological diversity, and environmental quality for the benefit of people and the environment.
The National Service of Natural Areas Protected by the State-SERNANP is in charge of directing and establishing the technical and administrative criteria for the conservation of Natural Protected Areas-NPAs, and to ensure the maintenance of biological diversity.
The Interethnic Association for the Development of the Peruvian Rainforest (AIDESEP) is the organization that brings together indigenous peoples of the Peruvian Amazon, through its 9 regional grassroots organizations, in order to coordinate efforts for the defense and respect of their collective rights.
31 forest conservation workshops were held (01 at the national level; 8 at the regional level and 22 at the local level).
A portfolio of financing initiatives was prepared.
With the participation of AIDESEP, support was given to the process of legal physical reorganization of 25 Native Communities (CCNN) with the following scopes: 01 recognized native community; 02 communities with an approved perimeter plan; 09 communities with fieldwork; 06 communities with completed fieldwork and an anthropological report issued and 07 communities that have a technical team selected for fieldwork.
The Forest Emissions Reference Level (NREF) has been updated, incorporating additional biomes and REDD+ activities.
It also provided support to MINAM for the operation of the National Registry of Mitigation Measures (RENAMI).
12 professionals of the PNCBMCC were trained in Project Management.

The capacities of 56 professionals of the PNCBMCC Technical Unit were strengthened to follow up on the signed articulation agreements.

An Incentive Manual was prepared for the implementation of the Incentive Fund within the framework of the Conditional Direct Transfer (CDT) mechanism.
