The National Service of Natural Protected Areas - SERNANP is responsible for directing and establishing the technical and administrative criteria for the conservation of Natural Protected Areas - ANP, and for safeguarding the maintenance of biological diversity.
Illescas Reserved Zone, the San Fernando National Reserve, and 8 sectors of the National Reserve System of Islands, Islets and Guano Points.
Virtual training conducted with technical support from CENFOTUR and in coordination with the Tourism Management Unit of SERNANP.
280 managers and tourism service providers in protected natural areas were trained
27 Associations of artisanal fishermen with conservation agreements under environmental, economic and social commitments.
Thirteen priority research projects were carried out, funded through SERNANP scholarships.
Acquisition of administrative headquarters of the San Fernando National Reserve and the IPG National Reserve to provide better infrastructure conditions to Sernanp.
Strengthening the control and surveillance system through the implementation of equipment and vehicles in the three protected natural areas (ANP) within the project's scope, at a cost exceeding $700,000. Additionally, tourism management was strengthened in the three ANP.

Sustainable economic development of the populations and support for participatory monitoring actions of the ANP are being promoted through the signing of 02 Conservation Agreements with artisanal fishing associations in Chincha and Huacho (RNSIIPG).
Leveraging more than S/ 1,000,000.00 of non-refundable funds, which has generated sustainability for proposals for new tourism products within the ANP (Turismo Emprende, Procompite and Profonanpe).
