Inputs were developed to enable MINAM to strengthen its forest cover monitoring module and establish a forest emissions reference level, both addressing forest degradation. REDD+ safeguards were also developed to strengthen MINAM's technical and institutional capacities to ensure environmental and social integrity and the sustainability of eco- and bio-businesses.

The project operations manual was developed, containing, among other things, the procedures for the management of sub-donations and technical assistance, the management of REDD+ safeguards at the eco and bio-business level, a fund replenishment strategy, and the mechanism for measuring, reporting and verifying carbon emissions.

The project's Board of Directors was formed and met 3 times during the year.

The rules for the project's first biobusiness competition were approved; and the project was successfully positioned as an ally present in programs and events related to impact investment.
