Strategic Alliance for the Sustainable Development of Mala
Compañía Minera Condestable and Profonanpe signed a framework agreement to develop projects that mainly benefit the rural community of Mala, respecting the environment and promoting economic growth in the area. This strategic alliance seeks to promote initiatives that generate a positive and lasting impact, integrating social development and ecological preservation to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants.

More than 5,000 isla bananas from Mala were prevented from rotting because they could not find a market and from generating greenhouse gases.
The project provided the ECODEP association with equipment and infrastructure through seed capital in the form of non-reimbursable funds.

Association of Biofertilizer Producers of Mala (PROBIMA)
With the production of biofertilizer, more than 200 kilos of meat waste, goat excrement and bovine blood were prevented from ending up in the municipal dump or in the Mala River.
With the production of dishwashers and soaps, 33 liters of waste oil were prevented from being discharged into the sewage system and from polluting more than 33,000 liters of water.
Biofertilizers ‘Nutri Yawar’ was analyzed by Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina, which concluded that they have high levels of macronutrients in nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.

26 tourism resources have been inventoried, including natural, cultural and heritage resources. These have been approved and published by MINCETUR.
The project is carrying out a technical-legal diagnosis of the drinking water and sanitation system in the Peasant Community of Mala. The objective is to improve, repair and optimize the service.
