Grants available to protect Environment, improve Food Production and promote Public Health

The Conservation, Food & Health Foundation seeks applications to protect the environment, improve food production and promote public health in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America and the Middle East. Conservation grants promote environmental conservation through field research, projects and advocacy. Food and agriculture grants support research projects that strengthen self-sufficiency and resilience to climate change, improve local food systems and promote healthy nutrition. Finally, innovative public health initiatives focused on reproductive health and family planning are supported. Priority is given to research, training and development projects that strengthen regional and national health systems.  Closing date: January 1. Apply here.

 

Story Grants to Strengthen Coverage of Environmental Crimes and Sustainable Solutions 2025

The Internews Earth Journalism Network and the Internews Americas team, in partnership with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), through the Together for Conservation project, are offering a third call for story grants to journalists and communicators in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. The goal is to strengthen their capacity to produce high-quality, fact-based and engaging public information about the impacts of conservation crime, as well as highlight viable community-driven and policy-based solutions to mitigate these impacts. Free Rivers Fund Regular Grants Program 2025

The Free Rivers Fund Regular Grants Program 2025 supports initiatives that seek to defend free-flowing rivers against pressures such as dam construction and other developments that alter river ecosystems. This program provides grants primarily to activist groups and conservation organizations that are dedicated to protecting or restoring rivers so that they maintain their natural flow. Submissions open for Keeling Curve Prize 2025

The Keeling Curve Prize is an international recognition awarded annually to outstanding projects that contribute to mitigating climate change by reducing greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. More than a financial award, it propels the growth of countless deserving climate leaders at the pace necessary to achieve significant and lasting emissions reductions across the globe. The five Keeling Curve Prize categories are gas capture and utilization, clean energy, financial mechanisms, social and cultural change, and sustainable transportation and mobility.  Closing date: January 15. Media Grants to Strengthen Coverage of Environmental Crimes and Sustainable Solutions 2025

The Media Grants to Strengthen Coverage of Environmental Crimes and Sustainable Solutions 2025 program, organized by Internews’ Earth Journalism Network (EJN), is offering organizational grants to media outlets, NGOs, academic institutions and other interested groups to support media and journalism activities related to environmental crimes in the Amazon region in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
