• Biobusinesses with operations in the Amazon biome of the Loreto, San Martín, Amazonas, Puno, Cusco and Madre de Dios regions, based on the use of biological diversity under criteria of environmental, social and economic sustainability.

• Eligible forms of business organization: Public or private limited company, formally constituted association, cooperative, peasant or native community, and community enterprise. Additionally, natural persons with businesses will be accepted only for business consulting.

How do I know if I meet the selection criteria? 

If the answer to these questions is YES, you meet the minimum eligibility criteria to submit a proposal: 

• You have at least one (01) year of formal establishment.
• Accounts with RUC in active and valid condition.
• Accounts with annual sales less than 1,700 UIT in 2024 (MSME). (Value of the UIT in 2024: S/ 5,150).
• Your bio-business does not generate high environmental and social risks.
• You do not participate in the voluntary carbon market.
• (01) minimum year of sales (to access business advice).
• (02) Minimum years of formal establishment and sales (to access financing).
• Sales greater than S/ 56,400 in the last 12 months (to access financing).
• No financial risk according to the Risk Center.
• It has the right to use the forest area related to the biobusiness.
• It has a permit for the use of forest resources, or is in the process of obtaining one (except for production under agroforestry systems).
• No serious environmental violations in the last 3 years.

• Individuals with businesses.
• Micro and small businesses.
• Associations formed for the exploitation of natural resources.
• Cooperatives established for the exploitation of natural resources.
• Peasant and native communities.

• Supply chains that will be prioritized in the selection of eco and bio-businesses:

  • Agricultural production under agroforestry systems for the purpose of forest recovery (for example, products such as cocoa, coffee, camu-camu, sacha inchi, achiote, copoazú, medicinal plants, aguaymanto, honey and by-products, among others).
  • Timber forestry exploitation (for example, products such as roundwood, sawn timber and their by-products).
  • Non-timber forest product use (for example, products such as chestnut, shiringa latex, aguaje, açaí, ungurahui, bijao, cat's claw, among others).
  • Ecotourism (for example, services such as nature tourism, adventure tourism, bird watching, community tourism, among others).
  • Wildlife management (for example, species such as the taricaya turtle, reptiles, birds, among others).
