It is closely linked to the sustainable use of natural resources of the Megantoni National Sanctuary (SNM) Natural Protected Area (ANP) and aims to improve the producer's economy and achieve their welfare by seeking alternatives for the development of agriculture, livestock and forestry.

In addition, it has been working to strengthen productive activities and reinforce the commitment of its associates to participatory management.

Through what is
Will it succeed?

- Strengthening the technical, logistical and organizational capacities of 58 cocoa-producing families from 3 associations in the buffer zone of the Megantoni National Sanctuary to implement good post-harvest, storage and marketing practices for cocoa. - Contributing to the participatory management of the PNA through the implementation of conservation agreements between 3 cocoa producer associations, the chocolate company La Ibérica and the Megantoni National Sanctuary. - Promoting the increase of economic benefits for the local population through the associative commercialization of cocoa under the brand "Aliados por la Conservación" (Allies for Conservation) in the buffer zone of the Megantoni National Sanctuary.
