Sustainable management of melipona bees
The beneficiary is a natural person with a business dedicated to tourism, which is closely linked to the sustainable use of natural resources in the Natural Protected Areas (NPAs) of the Abiseo River National Park (PNRA) and Gran Pajatén Biosphere Reserve. This business is a sustainable and referential farm, where they develop the cultivation of cocoa with agroforestry systems, planting of medicinal plants, biogardens, flower production and development of meliponiculture. It has a lodge-restaurant that hosts domestic and foreign tourists.
