Improvement of the beekeeping and meliponiculture production chain
The beneficiary is a natural person with a business dedicated to beekeeping, which is closely linked to the sustainable use of natural resources of the Alto Purús National Park (PNAP) Protected Natural Area (ANP) and aims to conserve the biodiversity of Purús, through the recovery, conservation and care of bees and the sustainable use of their products.
Alto Purús National Park
Improve the limited competencies of the beekeeping and meliponiculture production chain to the members of the Bioapinativa enterprise, for the sustainable use of bee products and derivatives in the buffer zone of the PNAP and RCP, located in the Purús District, Purús Province, Department of Ucayali.
- Improve the infrastructure conditions of the processing plant for primary bee products. - Acquire goods and equipment necessary for the sustainable use of bee products and by-products. - Provide technical assistance and capacity building to the members of the Bioapinativa enterprise, and characterize the bee products of the beekeeping and meliponiculture production chain in the buffer zone of the PNAP and RCP.
