Profonanpe, with the support of the Green Climate Fund, is undertaking institutional strengthening activities that include updating and/or creating management documents to strengthen and facilitate its work as a Nationally Accredited Entity. It is within the framework of these activities that a call for proposals has been launched to hire a consulting team to develop a due diligence procedure and the content of a self-assessment tool for organizations currently working with us or wishing to enter into an agreement.
In this way, the due diligence process will allow us to evaluate and analyze the current situation of our strategic partners based on legal, financial, tax, and environmental guidelines. This will enable us to ensure the quality of our project development, including those financed through the Green Climate Fund. Furthermore, the self-assessment tool will help organizations seeking to develop a project or initiative with us to determine at an early stage whether they and their project meet the minimum standards and criteria based on the activities and themes prioritized by Profonanpe as a national institution and as an entity accredited by the Green Climate Fund.
To participate in the call, your team must be passionate about nature and be composed of a lawyer or economist with 10 years of experience in conducting due diligence assessments and internal audits, and an engineer or economist with 10 years of experience in project formulation and evaluation.
