- Global Forest Watch Small Grants Fund. The overall goal of the Global Forest Watch (GFW) Small Grants Fund is to empower civil society organizations working in forest areas by providing them with the financial resources, technical support and training necessary to integrate advanced forest monitoring technology into their work, thereby transforming data and alerts into concrete conservation, land rights and accountability actions, while feeding back into and improving GFW's own tools. - Honnold Foundation. The Honnold Foundation works with underserved communities to expand equitable access to solar energy, based on the belief that such access improves quality of life and reduces environmental impact. The Foundation makes unrestricted grants to organizations around the world whose work promotes social and economic equity. - GEO Mountains Small Data Grants 2026-2027. - BBVA Foundation Frontiers of Knowledge Awards. The nineteenth edition of the BBVA Foundation Frontiers of Knowledge Awards is now open. These awards recognize and reward first-rate contributions to research and artistic creation that stand out for their originality, relevance and singular impact. The name of the program reflects its dual purpose: to reward work that substantially expands the boundaries of knowledge in a given area, as well as work that arises from the convergence of disciplines, giving rise to new fields of study. - The Conservation, Food and Health Foundation. The Foundation for Conservation, Food, and Health is an organization whose primary mission is to protect the environment, ensure food security, and improve public health in developing regions of Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America, and the Middle East. To achieve this purpose, the Foundation specializes in funding innovative projects that offer practical solutions to local challenges, strengthen human capital, and develop institutional capacities in three strategic areas: ecosystem conservation, sustainable agriculture, and public health systems. - Grants from Rapid Response Facility (RRF). The Rapid Response Facility (RRF) provides emergency support to natural World Heritage sites in times of crisis. The RRF is a partnership between the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and Fauna & Flora International (FFI). RRF grants are available for natural UNESCO World Heritage sites. The RRF only funds actions at a site facing an 'emergency' threat to its biodiversity. They do not fund ongoing problems, even if they require urgent action. Apply here.
- Rufford Grants Program. This grant program offers funding for nature conservation projects in the developing world. There are five consecutive funding schemes: the Rufford Small Grant, the 2nd Rufford Small Grant, the Booster Grant, the 2nd Booster Grant, and the Completion Grant. The primary requirement is that the work must be pragmatic in nature and have a substantial and lasting impact on the issue at hand (conservation). A significant human element is often present in a successful proposal, with community education and engagement being crucial. The Foundation has a broad scope of interest. In addition to the conservation of animals in their natural habitats, it also seeks to support conservation work focused on threatened habitats and other organisms such as plants, fungi, and insects.
