Alliance for Nature
In July of this year, Profonanpe and the Mining Innovation Hub signed an alliance to promote the sustainable development of Peru through projects that generate value for and from the mining industry.
With this agreement, both institutions are making efforts to deploy activities such as: open innovation calls to solve challenges in the mining sector in accordance with the regulations issued by the environmental sector and which are part of national and international commitments on this subject; discussion forums on topics relevant to the mining and environmental sectors; training spaces designed to promote knowledge and a culture of innovation and collaboration; and spaces focused on the following topics of value to the mining sector and the environment in which it operates.
The collaborative spirit of the Mining Innovation Hub of Peru and the mining sector's quest to be recognized as an environmentally responsible industry see in this alliance a further opportunity to address guidelines that benefit the local industry.
