On Tuesday, June 18, the signing of agreements and supervision of the acquisition of goods for the Association of Producers and Management of Aguaje - ASPROMAG, a community-based organization located in Loreto that works in the sustainable use of aguaje, took place. This activity is part of the implementation of Agroideas' Rural and Indigenous Women's Entrepreneurship Strategy (EMRI), granted in November 2024, of which ASPROMAG was one of the winning associations, accessing funding from S/154,422.00 for the acquisition of strategic goods and services.

The event took place in different parts of Lima, where ASPROMAG representatives completed the acquisition of key equipment to improve the production, conservation and marketing of products derived from the Amazonian aguaje. The activity was attended by the president and manager of ASPROMAG, the Profonanpe Communications team, representatives of the Agroideas Small Grants Program and technical staff involved in the incubator project.

Acquisitions were staggered at three key points during the day:

  • Exhibitors for artisan popsicles of the company MIYAGUI SAC (Pueblo Libre - Lima).
  • Climbing equipment for Amazonian fruit palms of the company HUNG SAC (Barranco - Lima).
  • Isothermal boxes (coolers) of the company GASTRO MAQ SAC (Cercado de Lima - Lima).

Throughout the process, technical and administrative oversight was provided to ensure that the goods complied with the specifications required by ASPROMAG and the guidelines established under the EMRI fund. The Profonananpe and Agroideas team verified that each supplier complied with the established commitments, thus guaranteeing the correct execution of the financing granted.

This milestone marks an important step in the organizational and commercial strengthening of ASPROMAG, as it will improve the processing and distribution of its products, as well as its presence in new markets. Obtaining this fund and its proper implementation is the result of the joint work between the association, the Amazonian Biobusiness Incubation Program promoted by Profonanpe and Agroideas, reaffirming the value of partnerships in favor of conservation and sustainable development.
