Yesterday, the symbolic delivery of humanitarian aid from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to the Artisanal Fishermen's Association of Ancón took place. As you may recall, following the oil spill, they have been unable to go out to work and their income has been seriously affected. Therefore, The IDB allocated more than $100,000 for the bonds which aim to mitigate some of this damage and support those fishermen who carried out their activities in the National Reserve System of Islands, Islets and Guano Points (RNSIIPG) – Pescadores Islets Sector, and the Ancón Reserved Zone.
