Since 2015, this fund has worked with the communities, species and resources of the Andes mountains and the Amazon headwaters, vast ecosystems vital to the future of our planet.
The National Service of Natural Areas Protected by the State - SERNANP is in charge of directing and establishing the technical and administrative criteria for the conservation of Natural Protected Areas - NPAs, and to ensure the maintenance of biological diversity.
The project is implemented in the Sierra del Divisor National Park (PNSD for its acronym in Spanish), protecting the mountainous region of the tropical rainforest of the Amazon plain.
The Lobo Santa Rocino and Nuevo Capanahua native communities in the Soplin and Yaquerana districts, the Bellavista native community on the Tapiche River, Requena province; the Monte Sinai hamlet in the Contamana district, Ucayali province. Department of Ucayali: The Nueva Saposoa, Patria Nueva and Saasa native communities, the riverine peasant community Guapries, in the district of Callería, province of Coronel Portillo.
With respect to the communal vigilance system, cleaning materials were implemented to the Communal Vigilance Committees of the Saasa native communities; with provisions, fuel, cleaning materials and medicines to the GUAPRIES- Guacamayo Annex Communal Vigilance Committee, province of Coronel Portillo, department of Ucayali. As well as food supplies to the Monte Sinai-Contamana Village, province of Ucayali, department of Loreto
The XIII PNSD Volunteer Park Ranger Program was implemented. The implementation of the breeding room in the butterfly house of the CCR Guapries.
<p>Anexo Guacamayo was concluded.</p>
