Main
achievements

Effective management: 14 million hectares of the Amazon biome achieved optimal progress according to the METT tool.

Enabling conditions: 26 NPAs reached or maintained the basic management level and 23 NPAs reached the structural management level, consolidating operational, planning and governance capacities.

Threat control and conservation: 27 NPAs controlled or reduced the intensity of impacts and 23 NPAs maintained their conservation status.

Territorial consolidation: incorporation of 458,598.92 hectares under perpetual conservation modalities through the establishment of a Communal Reserve and two Regional Conservation Areas.

Sustainable economic activities: 9 PNAs developed sustainable use of renewable natural resources and 2 PNAs maintained sustainable use of the landscape resource (tourism); progress in the ticket sales module for admission to PNAs, with gaps identified for the following period.

Financial sustainability: coverage of 59% of the average financial gap (approx. USD 60.6 million) through various financial mechanisms.
