Lime, The capital is the political, economic and cultural center of the country, with a humid coastal climate and intense urban activity. Piura, The city, in the north, is known for its warm climate, beaches, gastronomy and agricultural tradition, with an outstanding mango and banana production.

Beneficiary:

Local coastal marine communities.

They were part of the AMC project, which focuses on the conservation and sustainable management of marine-coastal ecosystems, strengthening local capacities and promoting the responsible use of marine resources. It also includes communities with similar characteristics in Lima and Piura, which share a strong dependence on the sea for their livelihoods and face environmental and socioeconomic challenges related to fisheries, climate change and biodiversity.
