The fact that the Ministry of the Environment is a beneficiary implies that it will receive technical, financial and methodological support to develop and update the regulatory framework, develop monitoring protocols and tools, and coordinate the participation of state and non-state actors, in order to ensure social and environmental integrity in the implementation of REDD+ in Peru.

The "Report on deforestation in the Amazon Biome 2001-2023, with multipurpose information" was produced.

The "First version of the Protocol for the operationalization of the nesting methodological approach" (internal document) was prepared.

The "First version of the ART TREES Registration and Monitoring Documents of the National REDD+ Program" (internal document) was prepared.

The quality, traceability and consistency of the reporting of mitigation measures in the LULUCF and Agriculture sectors was significantly improved, strengthening the technical coordination between MINAM, the sectors and the regional governments through technical assistance and targeted training.

Critical technical and institutional gaps were identified and a structured response was designed through a Technical Assistance Plan, laying a solid foundation for continuous improvement and consolidation of RENAMI.
