The U.S. Tropical Forest and Coral Reef Conservation Act (TFCCA) is a program that allows developing countries to reduce their foreign debt to the U.S. in exchange for using those same funds-in local currency-to conserve, protect and restore the environment.
SERNANP stands for Servicio Nacional de Áreas Naturales Protegidas por el Estado (National Service of Natural Areas Protected by the State). It is Peru's public institution in charge of managing and conserving biodiversity, ecosystems and natural resources in protected areas throughout the country.
