A national call for proposals was launched, resulting in the selection of 10 projects and the training of more than 50 people through workshops. The initiative was promoted across various social media platforms.
To date, 5 out of 10 projects have been completed, all of which have been fully implemented.
In Queros, a pond was constructed for raising Paco broodstock; in Manglares, the crab meat processing facility was upgraded, and processors were trained in business models and the selected technological model (internship); and in Savia, the beneficiaries were provided with kits and trained in first aid and production, waste was reduced by 30%, and production increased by over 100%.
