Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund is a joint biodiversity conservation initiative of the French Development Agency, Conservation International, the European Union, the Global Environment Facility, the Government of Japan and the World Bank.
We are the first national private institution accredited by GCF, and the project is the first approved worldwide by this fund.
In Peru, public policy interventions were promoted through alliances with Pronaturaleza, Yunkawasi and ECOAN, supporting the regional governments of Cusco and Amazonas, as well as SERFOR, in the participatory management of conservation areas, forest fire prevention, strategic planning and capacity building with a gender focus, with support for the presentation of results to local authorities planned for the coming months.
