With the support of the hemispheric initiative Conserva Aves, we seek to safeguard threatened or declining, endemic and migratory bird species; and protect their important habitats in Peru, through the creation and/or expansion and management of subnational protected areas (regional, municipal, communal, indigenous, public or private) in the country.

The Conserva Aves initiative, which protects territories of life, aims to promote the creation, consolidation, management and strengthening of 100 or more new strategic subnational protected areas covering more than two million hectares in, initially, nine Latin American countries.
