You will be part of the Technical Evaluation Committee of the “Entrepreneurs for Nature” contest, which aims to “promote and strengthen private enterprises for the sustainable use of natural resources associated with Natural Protected Areas (NPA), which contribute to their conservation and generate local economic development”; and you will be able to evaluate the project proposals submitted by local enterprises that use natural resources in a sustainable manner, according to the evaluation criteria established in the contest rules.

What green goals will you have?

Review the bidding conditions, the Minutes of Agreements of the proposal evaluation process and other documents provided by Profonanpe.
Sign the Affidavit of Non-Conflict of Interest and Confidentiality, and the Letter of Acceptance of the evaluators. By means of the latter, the evaluators will accept to carry out the evaluation of the proposals submitting to the bidding conditions, to receive training on the evaluation process to be carried out, to support the evaluations carried out if required (in order to ensure non-arbitrariness) and to support other coordinations that may be requested within the framework of the service; among other aspects detailed in the present TOR.
In relation to the evaluation process:
a) Evaluate project proposals that pass the first two review filters.
(compliance with requirements and compliance with technical eligibility), in charge of the
Directorate of Innovation and Strategic Management (DIGE) of Profonanpe and of the Committee
Technical Institutional, respectively.
b) Evaluate the proposals based on the criteria and scores established in Annex 05 of the bidding conditions 1 , taking into consideration complementary aspects mentioned in the bidding conditions, such as the following: i) the funding granted to the winning proposals should not exceed, in total, S/718,600 (considering the exchange rate established at the start date of the competition); ii) at least 30% of winning proposals should be led by women; iii) prioritize those proposals that are developed in areas of poverty or extreme poverty and whose undertakings are linked to addressing major threats to biodiversity conservation.
c) Evaluate the proposals within the deadlines scheduled for such activity.
