In addition, it will collect information through surveys and national virtual meetings. Thus, the process will ensure that new investments respond to the needs, opportunities and threats in the Tropical Andes Hotspot under the current context.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">This challenge, which has an implementation period of nine months and which began in July 2020, is assumed by a consortium of multidisciplinary institutions with a presence in Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. The process is led by Pronaturaleza \u2013 Fundaci\u00f3n Peruana por la Conservaci\u00f3n de la Naturaleza (PER) en association with Practical Action (BOL, PER), Arcoiris Ecological Foundation (EC), Birdlife International (UK) as Secretariat of KBA Internacional (BOL, COL, ECU, PER) and Panthera Colombia (COL). They will have the support and advice of the Regional Implementation Team ( Natural Heritage Fund in Colombia and Bolivia, Fundaci\u00f3n Futuro Latinoamericano in Ecuador and Profonanpe in Peru).
