At the same time, <\/span><b>Inaigem<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> shared the bioclimatic stress map for mountain ecosystems<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">y <\/span><b>Cenepred<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> prospective and corrective disaster risk management<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and multisectoral planning. An experience in Puno was also presented by the consultant Omar Varillas, oriented to the agricultural sector, who highlighted the importance of <\/span><b>integrating scientific knowledge with ancestral knowledge<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The activity took place at the Ancash Regional Emergency Operations Center (COER) and brought together representatives from municipalities such as Huaraz, Independencia, Jangas and Yungay, together with specialists from the Disaster Risk Management Offices of local governments in the Santa river basin.  Representatives of specialized technical institutions such as the National Meteorological and Hydrological Service of Peru (Senamhi), the National Center for Estimation, Prevention and Disaster Risk Reduction (Cenepred), the National Institute for Research on Glaciers and Mountain Ecosystems (Inaigem), the National Water Authority (Ana), the National Civil Defense Institute (Indeci) and the COER \u00c1ncash also participated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/profonanpe.org.pe\/en\/living-watersheds\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Living Basins<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is implemented by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/profonanpe.org.pe\/en\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Profonanpe<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, with financing from the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adaptation-fund.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/AFOverview-SPANISH-11.6.2014.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adaptation Fund<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and led by<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/mountain.pe\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Mountain Institute<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the Santa river basin, in the Ancash region.
