This event is being held as part of the Joint Declaration of Intent (JDI) Project, led by the Ministry of the Environment and implemented by Profonanpe, and is part of the country\u2019s strategies to address deforestation and forest degradation in order to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and mitigate climate change.<\/p>\n

The workshop aimed to share and validate the safeguards instruments, and also focused on providing technical assistance to participating organizations.<\/strong> During the event, critical issues were addressed, such as identifying gaps in the achievement of goals and standardizing reporting criteria, thereby ensuring that the actions implemented follow a consistent and effective approach.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n During the workshop, Paola S\u00e1nchez, ANECAP\u2019s project monitoring manager, emphasized the importance of reviewing goals on a regular basis: \u201cIt is crucial for each organization to review its goals independently, because this allows you to analyze quarterly progress and see if you are on the right track.
