November, 2021. \u2013<\/b> Within the framework of the campaign <\/span>#AnimalFans<\/b>, Profonanpe, the Environmental Fund of Peru, announced the creation of an OnlyFans account for the fox named Run Run, a wild animal that has caught the attention of Peruvians in recent days, in order to generate interest and reflection on the trafficking of these wild animals.<\/span><\/p>\n

Approximately 5,000 live specimens of wildlife are seized annually from the illegal market, which require rehabilitation due to the terrible sanitary conditions in which most of them are found: injured, dehydrated, malnourished, with skin lesions, some in agony.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In that sense, Profonanpe's vision for the future is that authorized rescue centers will also be properly equipped, with adequate facilities for their maintenance until their rehabilitation and, if possible, release into the wild.<\/span><\/p>\n

We will be constantly updating you on the new life that awaits Run Run, because we are all #AnimalFans in different ways,\u201d said Claudia Godfrey, Director of Innovation and Strategic Management at Profonanpe.<\/span><\/p>\n

The fundraising campaign began on Tuesday, November 9th, and will continue until the goal of S\/.20,000 soles is reached. However, according to Godfrey, this is a long-term initiative that requires sustained awareness so that everyone gradually understands that wild animals are not domesticated.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Run Run case has raised awareness in society and highlighted the urgency of controlling the illegal wildlife trade, a business that is the second greatest threat to biodiversity after habitat loss, not only in Peru but worldwide, and is the fourth largest illicit business in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n
