With this agreement, the Mining Innovation Hub of Peru, together with Profonanpe, are making efforts to deploy activities such as: open innovation calls to solve challenges in the mining sector in accordance with the regulations issued by the environmental sector and which are part of the national and international commitments on this subject, discussion spaces on topics relevant to the mining and environmental sectors, training spaces designed to promote knowledge and a culture of innovation and collaboration, and spaces around the following topics of value to the mining sector and the environment in which it operates.<\/p>\n

According to statements by the Hub's General Manager, Pamela Antonioli De Rutt\u00e9, "through the alliance with Profonanpe, we will be able to explore innovative methodologies for the remediation of environmental liabilities in Peru." Profonanpe has established itself as the most important private environmental fund in Peru. Since its founding, it has been characterized as an institution specializing in creating, developing, and implementing innovative processes in technical, administrative, and fund management, and in coordinating with all public and private stakeholders working to conserve biodiversity and mitigate and adapt to climate change.<\/p>\n
