He also emphasizes that much research remains to be done in this region: \u201cWe don&#039;t fully understand what we are trying to protect. The first, called \u201cTreasures to be discovered: Herpetofauna of the Cordillera de Col\u00e1n National Sanctuary,\u201d was developed in collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/profonanpe.org.pe\/en\/\">Environmental Fund of Peru (Profonanpe)<\/a> and the implementing agency CORBIDI.
