Strengthening the work relation with South Korea

Today was held the V Meeting of the Mixed Commission of Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation between Peru and South Korea, in order to discuss the situation and perspective for the bilateral relationship between both counties.

During the bloc “International Cooperation”, Profonanpe participated from the conversation since our project “Building Resilience in the Wetlands of the Province Datem del Marañon” –financed by the Green Climate Fund with an amount of US$ 6 million– has a component of sustainable energy which will be worked with the Korean Government, specifically through the Korean International Cooperation Agency – KOICA.

The inauguration was in charge of the Presidents of the Mixed Cooperation Commission, Mr. Tae-ho Lee and Eric Anderson Machado, representatives from the Governments of Korea and Peru respectively. Also present, the Director of the KOICA office in Peru, Mr. Dae-hwan Kim; in representation or Profonanpe participated our Executive Director, Alberto Paniagua, and our Development and Supervision Director, Claudia Godfrey.
